I first met Phyllis about 15 years ago, when we were both taking watercolor classes from Spring Lake artist Deborah Lass. Phyllis had such a friendly and enthusiastic personality. I enjoyed watercolor painting get-togethers at her lovely home.

My condolences to her family. Miss Chapman was a teacher at Central when I was a student although I was never in her class. Teachers then were caring to all the students not just those in their classes.
