Not sure what to say?

Phyllis took time to show love for us by cooking, baking, singing together and sewing special outfits for me when I visited her in Oregon with my family. Her smile and laugh were quick. She was always ready for an adventure. She lived her life to the glory of God. I will deeply miss her. Her memorial service was very moving. I'm so grateful to have been part of her life.

I met Phyllis in the 90s at New Hope. She was a sweet and kind person, always full of warmth. Phyllis loved spending time in the Columbia Gorge-whether walking the trails or simply sitting and soaking in the beauty around her. She had a beautiful voice and loved music, often attending the Singing Christmas Tree during the holidays. Phyllis has finished the race and is now with Jesus in Heaven. To the family of Phyllis, I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in the...

We have such wonderful memories of Phyllis during our growing up and youthful years at 1st OPC. She was a faithful member fully involved with the activities of the church. We remember her ready smile and a soft and sweet countenance.

Phyllis was so goodhearted and the nicest person. I knew her from church in Portland in the 80's and 90's -- we also did some music together. So sorry to hear this.

I loved playing so many games in my Aunt Phyllis´s basement. We had a lot of fun visiting her at her underground home in Oregon. She will be missed deeply. Heaven just gained a sweet beautiful angel.

She had a sweet spirit and a lovely laugh--almost a chuckle! We lost touch with her after changing churches but are thankful to see where she has been in those years and know she touched many throughout her life. God comfort and bless her children during this time.

I knew Phyllis as a dear friend and coworker. She was always kind and had a good heart! I will miss her. I wish her eternal happiness and peace with the Lord. Sue Slingerland
