Phyllis,I've tried to write this since first reading your obituary, struggling to decide what to say and how to explain my feelings for my "bestest" friend, you--dear, sweet Phyllis. That's the way you always referred to me, "my bestest friend". What a neat person and friend you have been! Your quirky sense of humor, delight in and love for your precious maltese babies; your always being there for me all those years---over 60 of them, hard to believe!---all were what made up you, my buddy,...

Oh Phyllis.....how I will miss you!! I loved knowing you & our great conversations!! I didnt even know!! Phyllis was wonderful, upbeat , insightful, & loving. She never judged any book by its cover! I had the grace of knowing Phyllis for several months before all this had happened. I will miss you!! Vanessa

Phyllis was such a wonderful, beautiful person. I have never known anyone who had as much love for her darling Maltese puppies. She loved them and cared for them often going without sleep when there were newborns or when one was ill. Phyllis will never be forgotten. Those of us lucky enough to have been allowed to adopt one of her puppies are lucky indeed to have such a fine, quality Maltese left in our keeping.

Rest in peace, Phyliss

You were a good neighbour, Always kind and helpfull to the kids.

I met Phyllis because we have one of her puppies. I will miss her quick wit and her knowledge of maltese. Phyllis you will be missed.
Kendall Hornady Birmingham, Al

Our only connection was the love we shared for our beautiful Maltese. Your desire was that we help each other. A message I will never forget.

I often wonder why people come together and bond even if it is for a short while. I felt as though I knew Phyllis for years even though it was for a few short months. Her life stories, her sense of humor and the unconditional love she had for Joe and her "babies" will forever be in my heart. I feel blessed that I got to know her, even for a short time, and feel even more blessed that I have a piece of her heart in my baby Cosmo. May she rest at peace. God bless you all who knew her and cared...
