Phyllis Hope Harris Burns

A wonderful artist and person. She is sorely missed.

So sorry about this and the loss for all the Burns family, as well as her many friends who knew and loved her. A woman of determination beyond all realms of reality. Peace be with you. Love to all.

Phyllis is one of my heros with her aura of peace and beauty, her connection with nature and her magic with a paintbrush.

While we were building our house just down the road, Phyllis and Barry's home was our model of exactly what we wanted. Of course we could not recreate in only twenty-five years what they have - a long-standing homestead filled with love and laughter that shines like a welcoming beacon in the countryside.

Phyllis was a wonderful artist and a kind person. She was a valued member of the Chatham Artists Guild and all who knew her enjoyed working with her. She will be missed by all.

I will miss Phyllis' loving heart and sensitivity. Thankfully, I have artwork of hers that I cherish to this day and think of her often as I see it. Phyllis and I had so many discussions about spiritually and what life here is all about. There was a period of time where we were searching for answers to the big questions that were some of the best and most rewarding years of my life. Phyllis was deeply spiritual and I know she is surrounded by love and peace now.
