My mother, Alvaretta Godman, enjoyed a long friendship with her cousin Phyllis. She often reminisced about their girlhood together in Pennsylvania and the years she lived in Phyllis' family home while attending Cherry Tree High School. Many years later, it was a happy coincidence when Phyllis moved with husband Dan and son Bill to Huntsville, and they could renew their friendship.
