Not sure what to say?

Dear George
Just learned of your mother's passing after searching on-line. Phyllis was always so faithful in sending me a birthday greeting each year, and when I did not hear from her I knew things were not right. I first met your mother and DeWitt when I worked for Gelco in the early 70's. In fact, he hired me. Your mother was such a wonderful and dear lady and I shall miss and remember her fondly always. Please accept my very heartfelt sympathy. Linda Belleville

George, we didn't hear from your mother before Memorial Day and wondered why. I finally got around to searching online and found this guest book. I didn't know your mother well, but my parents did (Jim and Marilyn Hiser) and we all knew you grandparents. I can see both of them in her picture. Mom & Dad put flowers on George and Mary Catherine's grave this past Memorial Day. They had done that at your mother's request for years and will probably continue to do so. They were all wonderful...

George,

I'm leaving this for my Mother-in-law, Margaret Miller (Middletown, OH). She hadn't heard from your mom since the Valentine's card she received. She was concerned when she didn't get a St. Patty's card. I guess she tried to call several times, and just recently found out the number was disconnected. I told her I'd do some research and just found out. I just spoke to Margaret and she is very sorry to hear about your mom. They were very good friends. Please accept our...

George:

My prayers are with you. Your Mom was a great lady, the picture captures her spirit.

Hello Dark:

My sympathies on the loss of your mom. While I never had the pleasure of meeting her, the heartfelt comments I've heard from those who did are a great testament to type of person she was. I wish you all the best during this difficult and sad time.

George,
As you know your Mom was very special to us and we feel as if we have lost a true friend. There was no doubt where Phyllis stood on matters that were important to her. However, her warmest and sincerest thoughts were expressed in her other favorite pastime, letter writing. We always loved receiving her cards and letters and keeping us updated on your latest shennigans....we could always get the true story on what was going on from Phyllis. As you said, George, she is in a better...

Dark,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May your memories sustain you and know that many are thinking of you. With sincere condolences,

Dear George Chapple:
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. We understand what you are going through as we have both lost our mothers recently.
We especially remember Phyllis at the "Adrienne Open" and the "Lafayette Close." I've played lots of golf with your step-dad, DeWitt, and we have spent many good times with both of them.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Love, Bob and Grace Farrington
