To the family of Phyllis,
I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis' passing on Sunday. I knew Phyllis well and admired and respected her for the person she was and how she related to all of our residents and staff. She was someone we all loved and looked up to for advice and counsel.
She was an amazing presence at Park Avenue and a role model to many as our Resident Council president and head of our welcoming committee. We will miss her dearly.

Dear Chiesa Family,
I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to your family. Phyllis was a wonderful patient and "family member" to me. During some very difficult times she was there for me. She was a wonderful person and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It was an honor to know Phyllis for the wonderful 3.5 years i have worked at Park Avenue. She would always give me a "hello" every morning and a wave. She always had a good book in her hand, and enjoyed our patio when the season allowed her to. I was shocked to hear her passing, and i will truly miss her, but her spirit is now thankfully part of mine. I'd like to send all of my prayers and sympathy to her loving family, and let them know that Phyllis was my friend and i was honored to know her.

I knew Phyllis for all the years I worked at Park Ave. She was a wonderful, caring, compassionate women-all who knew her loved her. I spent alot of time talking to her about life, her family, my family and all the things that are important in our daily lives. She always had a word of advice and I always looked forward to our time together. Phyllis you are among the Angels.

Both of my parents were in Park Avenue for a short time during my employment there and your mom was quite an inspiration to them. They recall your mom as "Quite the Lady" who would encourage all the residents (even got them to go) to attend daily activities. Her smile would light up the room.
