Not sure what to say?

I go back with Phyllis and her husband. My wife Joyce was a med tech and we saw them socially. Many years later we met up again in a water exercise class. Phyllis new everyone and always had a smile on her face. The pandemic ended the classes for both of us but we did manage to keep in touch by phone last year. Think of her often. Dick Keaveny

Dear Jan, Jamie & Emily, I am so saddened to just learn of your mom´s passing in Dec. We were in Chicago for a family Christmas weekend of 17th! So sorry I wasn´t aware of her visitation! I was one of her nursing students & would stay ( along w Ann) with you when your parents were away with the Weber´s! Your mom was the BEST in so many ways! JoAnn ( Calkins) Swope

Aunt Phyllis was my inspiration to be a nurse. She was nothing but loving toward everyone. I babysat the kids periodically & spent a lot of time with the family. She was a role model for me & helped me very much when my Mom, Ruth Gram had to go to assisted living. I will cherish her memory.

Phyllis was an amazing lady who persevered to maintain her independence despite being challenged with low vision. I was lucky enough to work with her on several occasions and enjoyed each time I saw her. She had a huge heart and cared for so many. She will be missed.

Phyllis was an instructor of mine at Bronson School of Nursing. She lead our first clinical at Bronson Vicksburg Hospital and made what was a very nerve racking experience into something enjoyable. She left an immediate impression on me and I recall her always having a smile on her face. She was a great lady. No doubt she will be missed by many.

I fondly remember our after work get together regularly. Would see some of the kids and or grandkids there too. Nice, fun loving and concederate. Between Don and Phyllis I learned many things about cooking and sewing. Still miss them after all these years.

So very sorry to learn of her passing. I've known the family since the 1950s when I worked with Don at the Bronson lab and later when Phyllis worked as nurse at Kalamazoo Pediatric Associates. Condolences to the family, Bill Venema

Loved her joy she had as a fellow nurse. Hard worker and a great role model to other nurses. Nancy White

Sorry to see Aunt Phyllis passing I fondly remember visiting at the house playing and drinking strawberry milk. Although we have lost touch with family, I still have memories of all.
