Phyllis, what a special lady. I had the pleasure of working at CR during the time she was keeping all of us straight on mail, packages and phone messages. She took the time to look folks in the eyes and really get to know them as unique individuals. She always greeted you with a smile and words of encouragement. God bless her, and may God bless your families at this time.

Floyd & Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Phyllis was such a wonderful person and like her Mother(my sister) she enjoyed life to the fullest when it came to family, friends and co-workers. I remember her as a bright, giving and fun living young woman in her early years. I wish I knew her more in later years but I am sure she has created some beautiful memories to leave her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

We worked together for so many years that its hard to believe this is really true. I remember one time at work we were serving lunch and Phyllis started this big argument with all of our elders and by the time they left they were all mad at each other. I asked her, now why did you do that over something that was so silly? She said they come in here every day to have lunch and sit in the same spots and sometimes hardly speak to each other. It's good for them to get their blood pumping once in...

Cousin Floyd & Families, You'll find some Comfort, in Your Wonderful Memories! I'm so Happy that I came over to see Phylis and shared some Pampering Time, with Her. When I asked Her what color she wanted on Her nails, she said, I don't usually wear color, so She said, lets Live It Up, and we chose Hot Pink! I think it perked Her up. I really enjoyed the Time We spent. Love to You All!!!

My heart aches for all of you! I was from Orleans and grew up with Phyllis, Peter, Patty and Patrick. Boz and My oldest were close in age and Phyllis and I both were blessed with unexpected pregnancies that we both felt were true miracles. Damia and my daughter Taylor were born a few months apart and we both left Orleans. I lost touch with the family but have thought of you all over the past 12 years! I am so sorry to hear about Phyllis. I wish all of you comfort in the happy times and...

To all of Phyllis' Family and Friend's, I had not seen Phyllis in a long time. I was stunned with sadness when I saw she passed away. I worked at the Humboldt Senior Resource Center for fifteen year's, and would see Phyllis for meeting's and workshop's ect.. She was a nice person and alway's friendly to me. A person did not have to know Phyllis well to realize she had alot of strength and determination to get something done, it was just obvious. And it was obvious as well that she was...

Today's the 15th anniversary of Shirley's death. I can imagine Shirley and Phyllis in heaven holding babies, Kian and Butchie, sitting around the kitchen table with Patrick. Duane's outside chopping wood. Phyllis definitely was one of a kind. She's missed by so many. We have many fond memories and one of the last things she told me was to let everyone know she loved them and was thankful.

Floyd and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. She was a really special person, and I will always remember how sweet she was to her Grandma 'Harley' Davis. She never had anything bad to say about anyone. She will be truly missed. Just try to remember all the good times you all had together.
