Not sure what to say?

Tinkerbell's Mom. It has been 14 years since you left & opted for a new home with a new body. No more sickness, no more pain. I miss you Phyllis...you have taught me so much from the time I was allowed to care for you. A heart of compassion was my greatest lesson & I owe it all to you. Continue to watch over your family. It's really growing. I miss & love you dearly.

Phyllis...miss you girlfriend...we did everything together growing up. GA's, Girl Scouts, riding the bus downtown to the library, giggling the whole way about the cute sailors...PJ parties at my house putting tooth paste on the lips of those that fell asleep...many, many good memories. See you in heaven girlfriend...you "woke" up in heaven on Thursday. I will see you again someday!

Roger, it has been many years and many Coast Guard events later but I remember Cookie well. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Lee Lillard (widow of L. Samuel Lillard).

You will always be in my heart. I will continue to yearn for the years that Alzheimer's stole from us. I will never forget your laughter, your smile, and your love of life. One day we will meet again. Until then, know that you are loved and you are missed.

P.S. If you see my Dad, please give him a hug from me.

FOREVER IN MY HEART:MY SNICKERDOODLE-Phyllis Mayfield Garlow

Roger,
Cher and I are absolutely heart broken because of the loss of Phyllis. You both have been great friends to us for quite some time. I hope time will be able to help you heal your sadness. She was a wonderful lady that loved you very much. We love you very much and want you to know that we are always here for you. Love, Deuce and Cher.

Sitting in a booth at Doumar's, you told me when this time came to be strong and focus on the time we shared. Your famous last words will stay with me forever, "life is not fair!" Although Alzheimer's robbed me of many years with you, the diagnosis made me very aware of our limited time we would have together. It was the hardest thing to watch you gradually fade away, but I have comfort knowing that I was able to spend so much time with you over the years. You were the greatest mother in the...

I met Phyllis when she first found out she had alzheimers, and she and Roger came into regis to get her hair colored. The thing that I remember most is what a good spirit she had. She was a wonderful person and I always looked forward to seeing her and Roger come in the shop. I could tell how much they loved each other. Roger you are very special, Phyllis was blessed to have you ! You also helped me when I found out my dad also had alzheimers. He passed away this September, and I miss...
