Not sure what to say?

So sad to learn of the passing of Phyllis Hines. She was from a stellar Tullahoma family that contributed leadership to both the sports and intellectual community. Her mother still attends the First Methodist Church where Phillis attended growing up. Tullahoma is proud to remember Phyllis and her legacy. Prayers of peace ti her family

Look up "Coach's Dream " and you will see Phyllis' picture. Naturally gifted and always willing to work hard and race harder, she was an inspiration to the women of ASC and all of her competitors. Often heard before races "I'm not going to let that 'old lady' beat me"and afterwards "I don't know how that 'old lady' beat me" Phyllis was struggling with a serious case of plantar fasciitis for the entire season and we had agreed to temper her training to make sure she could make it to the...

Phyllis and I graduated from High School together but most of my memories of her are from Junior High. She was always smiling and happy. I was so proud for her when she broke the school records and I´ve enjoyed hearing of all her successes through the years. Praying for the family.

To the family of Phyllis Hines, I had the pleasure of serving on the Path Foundation board with Phyllis. She brought her knowledge and enthusiasm in helping Path to build trails. It was an honor to have been her friend.

I grew up with Phyllis in Tullahoma, and my Hensel family and the Hines family will be forever entwined through running & track. Phyllis truly made me smile when she came through Greenville, SC (where I live) to race in the US Pro Cycling Races yrs ago. It was the 1st time I´d seen Phyllis cycling, and she looked so happy! My husband, an elite amateur cyclist himself, took a couple photos of her during a race, and we sent them to her later. The Hensel family all send their deepest condolences...

Mary Lou Childers I am so very sorry about the untimely passing of Phyllis. I send my condolences to her friends and family.

I am from Tullahoma and knew Phyllis a bit thru a few family gatherings and my brother, who was a longtime friend. I am so sorry she has passed away. My deepest sympathy to her family.
