I am so sorry for your loss. From what you have told me she was quite a character and lived life to the fullest. Keep the good memories close to you and cherish the time you had together.

Jerry,
I never had the privilege of knowing your mom but through you, I did get a glimpse of her. She made her journey, except for the last hours, through this live in a manner that was to her, most pleasing. We only have one opportunity to take this trip and she got the most out of it. God provides us family and friends to aide in the journey and they, as you have proven, can be a great blessing.
Your mom's love of the world around her is indicative of the love in her heart...

Each of us originates from the "SPIRITUAL" stuff of the universe! When we talk "SPIRITUAL" we are talking about "GOD" ! HE is The Creator of all things! WE were never "Units Of The "Physical"! God simply took a unit of "The SPIRITUAL" and made for it a unit of the Physical to give it a temporary home, (wherein it could react for a while with His physical creation!).
Things "physical" have a short lifespan. When this is complete the original "Spirit" returns to The God Who...

Mom had a good eye for art. She started as a little girl trying to image the scenario in the painting, as well as the mood of the artist as he or she created the piece. If her art discussion happened to fall on deaf ears, she never let that dampen her enthusiasm. Mom shared her love of art, her collection, and her knowledge with all of us. Thanks Mom!

Another of Mom’s babies. Please don't let Mickey's looks deceive you. She can bite ankles with the best of them.

Choko was one of my mother’s furry children. Through the years she and Howard had many pets. Often spending more $$ on the animals than on themselves.

I am so grateful for my time with you.
Phyllis was a wonderful Mother-in-Law to me, and an even better friend. Always a wise woman, she was a good listener, and willing to impart wisdom and share advise when needed. She was always kind and generous to me, and looked out for Ashley and I when we were on our own. She shared her love of treasure hunting with me and managed to get me quite hooked. I owe a lot of filled shelves in my home to her starting a few collections for me, and helping me add to ones I had already started. ...
