Not sure what to say?

Mrs Martin taught my younger brothers and me 4th and 6th grade math and is one of my favorite teachers ever. She instilled in me a love for learning, especially in math. She was kind, loving, & funny but also firm. She loved being an educator and truly loved her students. It has been many, many years since I last saw her, but she will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to her loved ones. The world will not be the same without her.

Mrs. Martin was the best math Teacher any child could ever want. She was such a kind and gentle person. My children, and I remember her fondly. So very sorry for your loss. May her soul rest in peace.

Offer my thoughts and prayers from Chadds Ford, PA and Houston, TX to the family of Mrs. Martin as we knew her in 5th/6th grade- She was fantastic inspirational quality math teacher at St Dominic - she inspired many and we were lucky to have here as a teacher and leader which inspired me to continue into math and sciences into engineering in college---she will always be remembered...

I wanted to add this photo I took of Phyllis last year when I visited her at Christwood.

I went to St. Dominic's and my mother, Margie Foley, taught there with Phyllis and were good friends with her and Harold. I will do a Novena of Mass here at St. Joseph Abbey for her and all her family. Chip Foley/ Father Augustine

I'm so sorry to read this from Tampa, FL. I will ALWAYS remember you, my 3rd grade teacher at St Dominic School.... My Favorite Teacher. Such a lovely, understanding person. Forever in my memories; may God rest your soul.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
