Phyllis Matturro Obituary
AGE: 67 • Toms River
Phyllis Ann Matturro, 67, of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, peacefully at Community Medical Center. She was born in East Orange on June 9, 1948 and lived in Bloomfield before moving to Toms River 40 years ago. Phyllis was a loving housewife, and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Edward Matturro Sr. and 3 children, Danielle Matturro, Dana Matturro and her fiancé Richard Laycock and her baby boy Edward Matturro Jr.; her 5 loving grandchildren, Taylor, Eddie, Gabriella, Quincy and Rylee Grace; also all her nieces and nephews; twin sister, Marilyn Beirne and sister, Kathy Cappello. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Larry and Helen Toohers, brother, Larry Toohers, her sisters, Judy Watterston, Patty Romano, and Eileen Yodice.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.

I did not know your Mom, but by the beautiful hearts of her children, I can tell she brought you up well.
