Phyllis Maynes

Phyllis was my Moms (Ruth Fogg) best friend when they worked together at Squire Travel and Insurance back in the 1960's. We also were all members at First Baptist Church on Broad St. Phyllis gave me numerous opportunities to make what she called "pocket money" mowing the Grass and shoveling snow at the Carpenter Ave residence she shared with her parents during my high school years until our family moved to Ohio in 1968. Condolences to the Maynes family, she was a wonderful person.

My sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your loved one, Phyllis Maynes. I only met her a few times years ago but often wondered how she was doing after she moved to the Bradley home. She lived a good long life both on Carpenter Ave and later at the home. Growing up she was a friend and neighbor of my mother, Marie Prillwitz Hintz, daughter of Fred and Regina Prillwilltz who lived at 31 Carpenter Ave in Meriden.
