Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to see that Phyllis died. Growing up she was one of the kindest women I knew. When my mother got sick Phyllis visited her and sent cards so faithfully, I was so grateful to her. When mom died last week I went to look up Phyllis to notify her and saw she had also passed away. What a loss. May her memory forever be a blessing to your family.

So sorry to read this news today. Phyl was such a wonderful lady and I so enjoyed working with her. Our love and prayers go out to Lance and Marie and the girls as well as her extended family. May she rest in peace.

We will miss this awesome woman. Her legacy burns brightly!

Condolences to her family and all who cared for and loved her.

We have such fond memories of Phyllis, who was always so helpful at Fountain St Church and all its many social functions. We need more people like Phyllis in this world. She will be missed.

I regret that I'll not be in Grand Rapids on Dec. 14, 2024, to attend the memorial service at Fountain Street Church for Phyllis Penny, whom I knew, liked, and admired for many decades, especially for her steadfast volunteering in many different roles at church, including the Schweizer Guild, the choir, and the Governing Board. Phyllis may not have known of my awareness and admiration for her, simply because my family and profession has taken me to the Washington, DC area for so much of my...
