Not sure what to say?

Yes...this is 5 months later, but I just found out. I sent her a note and it came back to me with the words "deceased."

I am soo sorry to hear of passing and she has always and will always be in my thoughts. It seems like I was just there for Buddy's shiva.

I always loved both Phyllis and Buddy and they both meant sooooo much to me while I was at JCC.

To the Phillips' Family,

My husband, Howard, and I were very sorry to learn that Phyllis passed away. We were neighbors of hers when she lived on Latrobe and I worked with Phyllis at the JCC.

Our thoughts are with all of you in your time of sadness.

To Jay, Andrea, and Family.
Phyllis and Buddy were closer to me than my own Aunts and Uncles. The laughter, the respect, the wonderful Role Models they both were are timeless. They have imprinted so many wonderful things in my heart. I am grateful to have known them. My Deepest Condolences and Love, Deb Schneider

To Jay, Andrea, your adorable children, and family, We have been blessed with the Friendship, Love and Memories of Your Parents. When we lost Buddy, words could not express our Sorrow. Now that your Wonderful Mom, Sister, Bubbe, Gramma, Auntie, Friend has joined Buddy, a place in our hearts will always be there for them and you.
We are sorry we can not be there for our Dear Friend, and her Dear Family, but we send our deepest sympathies and love.
Love, Joyce and George Schneider

Phyllis was always there for me, from the day I walked into the JCC to the time I moved to Houston. And then she was there with my aunt, mom & dad as well. We had many fond memories and interesting experiences together during those years we were colleagues and friends. I will miss her very much.

Dear Phyllis,

Wherever you are, my heart is broken forever.

To Andrea and Jay, No words can express the sadness that we both have at this time. your mom was so much a part of my whole life that she might as well could have been my second mom. we loved getting her jokes on email. she will be so sorely missed. we both loved her like a mom. stay strong, she would want you to be that way. love bob and terri grossman

I knew Phyllis through her work at JCC. She was always such a nice, friendly, and bubbly person - a joy to talk to. She was also really helpful in trying to assist me in getting rid of whatever stain from what I had recently spilled on myself. To me, I can honestly say that she was truly a joy to be around and speak to - that's the best description that comes to mind.

Dear Phyllis
You will be sorely missed
You were always a friend who was always there when needed.
My sympathy to your family.
