Phyllis Ann Reardon

Phyllis Ann Reardon, age 85, of Appleton, died on March 5, 2012, with her loving family by her side at Peabody Manor in Appleton. She was born on December 18, 1926, in Oakdale, Wisconsin, to Ernest and Georgia Johnson Snider. Phyllis graduated from Tomah High School and worked at the former Camp McCoy prior to her marriage to Leo B. Reardon on May 5, 1946. She lived in central Wisconsin until her move to Appleton in 1966. Phyllis was the proprietor of the West End Tavern, and worked for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital. After her retirement, Phyllis gained a great deal of enjoyment from providing love and support to children whose families would later become part of her extended family. Phyllis is survived by her children: David Mary Reardon, Anne the late Richard Lewandowski, Paula Jo Jeff Earl Reardon, and Scott Patti Reardon from her first marriage; and Lisa Kevin Mroczkowski from a second marriage; grandchildren: Amy Reardon and Heather Jeff Nabbefeld Reardon; Shelby, Alec and Sydney Flaherty and Trevor Mroczkowski; great grandchildren: Kali Geerts and Steele Tiggerus; Payton Reardon Nabbefeld; siblings: Frank the late Nell Snider, Martin Phyllis Snider and Ruth Ward Rawhouser. She is further survived by thirteen nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Phyllis will be missed greatly, not only by her family, but by many special friends, especially Cathie Gill. The memorial service for Phyllis will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Inurnment will take place at Tunnel City Cemetery in Tomah, Wisconsin. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
