To Phyllis´s family and friends. To know Phyllis was to know her family. She was the consummate family matriarch. She always wanted to be and to do all things at all times for those she loved. All requests, no matter how challenging for her, would be met with a nurturing motherly response. She always seemed to put the needs of those she cared for above her own needs, and she did it so unconditionally. Over the years, I watched her take on her own life challenges with grace and fortitude....
