Phyllis Maren Smith

Hello Buddy and the Smith Family-- I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Smith's passing. As a former student, I always admired her strength and competence in the classroom. She was a great teacher. For many years, our parents were part of a dedicated group of teachers--they were an extended family, I always appreciated the kindness and friendship that Mr and Mrs Smith shared with my parents as fellow teachers at Cleveland High School. Blessings and comfort to your family.

I hate to hear this news. Mrs. Smith was one of the best teachers I had at CISD. She was tough but fair. Condolences to her family and friends.

Mrs. Smith was one of my favorite teachers. As an adult, we went to church together and I learned to love a different side of Mrs. Smith. I will miss her.
