Not sure what to say?

What a fantastic actress, and so underutilized! Catch her short part as the Sheriff in S2 E7 of Elementary. Great presence. 2020 was a terrible year. -- a fan

Hi, I worked in a law firm in Birmingham, AL: Lange Simpson, Robinson & Simerville, for a lot of years. William Somerville was a senior partner in that law firm. I enjoyed many years of employment there as a secretary and later, as a paralegal. I saw the Redford-Fonda movie, "Our Souls At Night," (about 10x now), which I love. Ms. Phyllis Somerville was a member of the cast in that movie alongside Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. It was a wonderful movie, and I wondered if actress, Phyllis...

My sympathy to the family and friends of Phyllis. She was a delightful person, great actor, and friend to my sister. Strength and comfort to her family.

My sympathy to family and friends of Phyllis. We share being born and raised in Iowa, but I met her in New York when my sister became friends with Phyllis. I have watched her and sought out her older roles. She was a wonderful actress, but she was a better friend to my sister. Rest In Peace.

My sincere condolences to the family of Phyllis Somerville ,so sorry for your loss,She was a talented actress who will be missed. May God strengthen and comfort you during this most difficult time

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Phyllis. May you find comfort from the God of ALL comfort as he bless you with his tender mercy during this time.

Such a sweet and wonderful lady! Phyllis was my friend for 53 years, and will be sorely missed by me and all who knew her. A brilliant actor, with great range and depth, she never ceased to find the humor and compassion buried within each character.
I mourn her passing, and share the grief with all her family and friends.

Phyllis was a sweet, charming, wonderful lady. I had the honor of knowing her ever since 1967. She, and my husband Joel Kramer, acted together at the Hilberry Theatre in Detroit for three years.
A consummate actor, Phyllis imbued every character she portrayed with depth and an insight into the human psyche, be it a comic role or deadly serious.
A dear friend, whose career I followed with pride for 53 years. You will be sorely missed!

God is a God of all Comfort and he will Comfort ..
