Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Thomas. She was my 10th grade English teacher at Classical High School in 1976. She was a very good teacher who held us to high standards. Outside of class, she would always smile and say hello to me. I appreciated her kindness. My deepest condolences to all who knew her. She is and will be missed.

Wow!!! I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Thomas. I had her as a 10th grade English teacher at Central High School in 1994. I think she was the hardest teacher I ever encountered throughout high school and college for that matter. Former students told me that earning a D in her class was a gift and to treasure it. She was a very hard grader and you were happy if you received a passing grade on her assignments. Rest in peace!!

I was a teacher at Central high. I didn't,t know Phylllis well, but when I spoke to her she was friendly, always passionate about her profession, and dedicated to get the very best from her students. When students spoke to me about her they always appreciated her toughness and the high standards she had in her classroom. She served as a model and inspired me to try to be as good a teacher as she was. I know there are thousands of students who are thankful for her for the success they have...

My condolences.I had Ms Stevens at Duggan Jr High many many years ago.She was tough and I always wondered where she ended up teaching.Lived in Agawam as I did for many years, and never knew it.Rest in Peace

Mrs. Thomas was my English teacher at Classical in the 70's. She was tough but very fair and I learned a lot; a very good teacher.
My sympathies to her family.
