Not sure what to say?

Just now found out Phyllis had passed. She was such an inspiration to me and so many others. I learned so much from her and all those I met while spending summers at ETM in Michigan. My teaching was forever changed by what I learned from Phyllis. I still teach folk dance and I hope it makes her smile to see the number of boys who dance and the costuming we have been able to do. Bless her and her family. Her legacy will continue on through her many students.

I participated in one of Phyllis's workshops back in 1977-78. It must have been 100 degrees in that barn, but no one complained. Phyllis had a profound influence on my teaching. Whenever I saw her over the years, it was a welcome reunion for both of us. A special lady whose legacy will live on.

.......teammate and wonderful friend. Thank you Phyl for those great memories!

Enjoyed all our years playing hockey together. Your Mom always encouraged and lead. She was an advocate and mentor. Lots of great memories. Still live in Ypsi. Would love to see you girls. Hard to believe she's not with us anymore. So saddened of the news.

Her legacy will live on

Phil was certainly an influence on me as an up and coming umpire in the Great Lakes region. She was of the old cloth that treated everyone with kindness and respect. Michigan field hockey wouldn't be where it is today without her many, many contributions. I'll miss knowing that her warm smile and gracious personality is gone from this plane.
