I loved Aunt Phyllis! She was good natured, calm, and independent in a quiet way. She was one of the rare family members with the same wheat and hazel eye color and yellowed tinted skin as mine - a Leasure trait through the Boden line. She modeled strength by her duty and also by her freedom of choice later in life. She had a fun loving side and an easy laugh. I'm glad I got to see her at various times in her travels and mine. Eternal peace.

It was you who came with me to pick out my wedding dress when I married your son. It was you who flew out to California with me when my dad passed away. There is so...
