Dear Family and Friends of Phyllis, I had the privilege of knowing Phyllis as a fellow Christ follower in the same church...Tabor Heights United Methodist of Portland OR. Phyllis loved her family and friends expressing her joy over them with her beautiful smile as she shared sweet stories with me. I am hoping your hearts will soon be filled with your memories of joyful times together as you celebrate her well lived life.

Phyllis on her 93rd birthday! Mom lived with me for the last 3+ years of her life, and it was an honor for me to get to know her well and to care for her. She was extremely selfless and generous to her family. She woke up every morning in California and said, "Look! The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day!" We will miss you, mom.
