Pierce was a really great man of courage and conviction. His contributions to Dallas will forever live on through the lives that he touched through his educational endeavors. God has a great anchorman now by his side.

I was only able to meet Pierce on one occasion and it was unforgettable on many levels. My sincere condolences to his three daughters - Holly, Margaret, and Amy - as they grieve the loss of their father.

Pierce and Allie Beth were close friends and had traveled together several years ago. I will miss his distinctive voice, his winning smile , and his humor.

Pierce touched the lives of all he knew and his zest for life was incomparable. He will remain in our hearts and in our memories forever.
