Not sure what to say?

Pete was a dear friend and advocate of all fishermen, with his gentle face and humble spirit he dedicated his admired knowledge to advance opportunities for so many others through fisheries management. Pete was a kind, generous, and sincere man and we we will miss him forever.

Pete truly cared about his life's work, even when it seemed impossible to proceed he kept going. An inspiration to all of us working in fisheries. thanks, Pete and Karen and family.

Thank you Pete for all the advice over the years in Council meetings and in marketing issues and those long phone calls. You always fought for fishermen's rights. Thanks also for keeping Ventura Harbor a fishing harbor. You will be missed.

The Westcoast fishing community has lost Pete-- a great fisherman with wealth of sustainable fisheries knowledge. I had an opportunity to visit his longline boat few years ago. He took us around and showed the operation of business. He was just great!
Rest in Peace!
