Pierre Horn

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Knowing Pierre for 35 years makes it hard for me to cope with the loss of him.

I miss you Pierre...

Un ami merveilleux...

I miss my dancing buddy, Pierre, but even more-we all miss his zest for life. After he moved from Ukiah, Pierre often came to stay with us on his return visits. He was also the perfect houseguest-making dinner, doing projects and sharing stories of a life well-lived. Our lives were richer for having known him. Here is a photo of Pierre at a 2011 Halloween dance in Ukiah.

I always enjoyed watching Pierre dance with my wife, Susan. Here they are at the car show in Ukiah in 2012. We will miss him.

Wow....what tragic news....thanks for sharing on Pierre's Facebook page, otherwise we would not have heard. We have know Pierre about 15 years or so, wine tasting, dinners together, visiting in Germany and more. He was such a vibrant, warm, loving, bright person with such a lust for life. We are so very sorry for your loss - and the loss to all who knew him.

I read about Pierre's passing with real sadness. I have not seen him in many years, but worked with Pierre and 5 others in the Yurt Works in the '80s. When I encountered him in later years, he was happy to relate his travels to me. I did not know he was passionate about fencing! He was certainly a man of many interests. It is so hard to lose this anchor in all your lives. Nothing I can write here will take away your pain and sadness. Just keep...
