Baltimore, Maryland
Pierre Doming Silva, was born on March 09, 1969 to
the late Patricia Claudette Silva in Baltimore, Mary-
land. He entered his eternal life on Sunday, May 15,
2016 at Sinai Hospital.
He received his education in Baltimore, Maryland. He
graduated from Gilman High School, attended Morgan
State University, Loyola College and received a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Human Services from Sojourner
Douglass College. Pierre or Petey as he was affection-
ately called worked for the Department of Public Safety
and Correctional Services for twenty-four years,
charged as Captain at Maryland Correctional
Institution-Jessup.
Pierre was a lover of life, a music enthusiast, a
caring/loving individual with a giving heart. He was
knowledgeable, respectful, humble and witty.
Pierre was christened as a child at Christ United Methodist Church. In later years, he attended numerous
churches /Houses of Prayer. He was a member of Ray
of Hope Baptist Church.
He had one son, David Saunders, devoted companion,
Crystal Harrison/son Darnell Jr. Pierre will be
remembered as he touched the lives of all who knew him.
In addition to David, Crystal and Darnell, Jr., he leaves
to cherish his precious memory: aunts, Diane M. Silva,
Janice Baker, Corine Smothers, Denise Silva and Betty
Lawson; uncle, Theodore S. Silva (Buddy); cousins,
Dana/Tahia, Antoine, Theodore (Teddy), Tara, Con-
suela and Sierra; devoted friends, Anthony Coleman,
Dennis Dorsey, Lee Floyd, Carlton Thompson, Van-
essa Harrington, Alphodio Diallo and a host of other
relatives and innumerable friends.
