Polly M. Edwards

So sorry to hear of Polly's passing. My mother, Betty Cash, had wonderful times with Polly and the Jolly Girls. Both my dad and mom cherished Al's Christ centered teaching and preaching, and enjoyed the wonderful friendship with Al and Polly.
While my dad was a Pastor's son and Bible School graduate and longtime Bible teacher, I was personally led to Christ in Al's Orthodox Presbyterian study with the words, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through...

Already familiar with the Edwards/Barker clan from my days in St. Louis and at Knollwood in Wisconsin, we joined up with Al, Polly and family in our early days in Oregon in the late '60s. We got to know them and their kids well, and they remained our warm, generous friends, doing wonderful things for us and our family over the decades to the end. We are ever grateful.

My condolences to the Edwards family. The Cash family attended First Orthodox Presbyterian Church in NE Portland, OR, where Al Edwards was pastor for many years. Polly spent many beach vacations with my Grandmother Betty Cash, Olive Monroe and Ann Schouten (The Jolly Four) in the 70's & 80's. My Grandmother truly enjoyed those times and spoke fondly of them later in life. Margo Cash
