Not sure what to say?

Dear Isabella, Polly was so very kind and helpful to my dad when he lived at Sevier House and later at Georgetown Retirement . Such a fun person and so very lovely and generous. I have not seen her since '96 but I will always remember her. My heart goes out to you and all of Polly's family. Most sincerely, George Brock

Dear Isabella,
I was really happy to get acquainted with Polly during my residence in Dumbarton Oaks last summer. It is just impossible to forget her kindness, cordiality and remarkable sense of humour.
I still cannot believe that it is true...
Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Isabella,
We knew Polly through DO and thought of her as good. I will deeply miss her gracious presence.

Dear Isabella,
I will cherish the time I spent both working with your mom at the Lisner Home and getting to know her as a friend. She was truly a remarkable lady; she had such style and flair! I will always smile when I think of her. My deepest sympathies on your loss.

Dear Isabella, I was so fortunate to have worked with your mother in many capacities over these past 20+ years. I will always remember her wonderful and generous contributions to the Hurt Home residents and later the Lisner Home. Polly's incredible creativity, gentle kindness & most of all, her deep & unconditional love for you & your sister will always remain with me. I am so fortunate to have been able to call Polly, my friend. Love, Hele Hoenig

Dear Isabella,
We were so sorry to hear about Polly's illness, and then it was all over a few days after we heard she was ill. We will miss her humor and her intellectual and artistic gifts. With deepest sympathy, Patrick Brogan and Janet Satterthwaite

I had the pleasure of meeting Polly on one occasion and came away extremely impressed with her positive energy and her genuine, down to earth naturalness. I am saddened by her passing.

Our sincere condolences.

Nancy and Larry

I worked with Polly at Dumbarton Oaks and am shocked and saddened. She was a wonderful and witty woman--she was a pleasure to be around.
