POLLY B. HILL

Polly was one of the kindest people I ever met. She and Dick spent several days in Hong Kong in the mid 1970s and I had the pleasure of being with them there. Later back in Boston, as well. Both of them always knew just what to say to young, inexperienced Bank of Boston officers like me, to make us feel, not only at ease, but sometimes with a single well-placed compliment, like a million bucks. I'm very saddened to hear this. Dick and Polly were lovely people. We met them by boarding their English-Irish Setter at our home. If I remember correctly his name was Dusty and he slept on my bed when he came to visit. A years long friendship ensued. I remember spending time at their beautiful home on the Neck.
