Not sure what to say?

Polly was one of the realest people I have ever met. She pulled no punches. I'm sorry I never had the oppurtunity to tell her the impact she had on my life. My deepest condolences to her three daughters and grandchildren.

Sending my deepest sympathies for your loss. I knew Polly in the more recent past, and can attest to her wonderful heart, insightful mind and great kindnesses. She was a wonderful woman and will be woefully missed. I am just learning the news and so very sad about it. My thoughts are with your family.

nice concept...thanks...

My sincere condolences to you all at this time of great sorrow.

She was so great at what she did. Some of the movies she did are some of my favorite movies. Like Terms of Endearment and War of the Roses. We are so sorry to hear that she has passed away...but we rejoice that we knew her and that she 'lived'. May the words in Ecc 5:9 provide comfort. She is asleep and no long experiencing the effects of Lou Gherig's desease.

To the family,
So very, very sorry for your loss.--Psalms 147:3

I just finished reading about the very talented Polly Platt in Rachel Abramowitz's book on women pioneers in the film industry, "Is That A Gun in Your Pocket?"
Polly's skills and determination as a producer and designer in the man's club of Hollywood impressed me tremendously.
She was quite a lady.
Gifted, sensitive and hard-working.
(And the brains behind some of Bogdanovitch's early successes.)
Sorry to hear about her health issues.
A great loss to the arts...

A gifted women, I enjoy her movies, most of my favorties. As a gifted women I pray for her to hope she enjoy her life.
