So when we heard of the Porter Brown Byrum gift, we wanted to express our thanks on behalf of the students who will be able to attend in years to come due to his generosity. What a great gift! My daughter graduated from Wake Forest in 2015. She loved it so much! It is an outstanding school in every way. We have just now learned of this man's generosity and his amazing life. What a wonderful legacy to help others benefit from an education at such a beautiful place. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
