My husband and I are so very sorry to hear that a piece of Westminster's history has left us. My first memory of Mr. Dawley was in 1966 when I first started teaching at the elementary school. I lived on Main Street, so would walk to work. The crackers were baking, and Mr. Dawley would offer me a warm cracker. Porter was one of our favorite people. He was especially close to my father,Irving Sr.and mother,Barbara Fenno. The Fenno family lived next door to the Dawleys.Porter was a great friend to my wife,Lee and me. He will be missed
