Mr. Cope was born on March 20, 2002 and passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Mr. Cope was a resident of Benton, Kentucky at the time of passing. He attended Marshall County High School where he was a member of the Marshall County Baseball Team and Future Christian Athletes Club. A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Marshall County High School, Reed Conder Memorial Gymnasium located at 416 High School Rd Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Dr. Charles Frazier, Sean Harris, and Shane Darnall officiating. Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Reed Conder Memorial Gymnasium. Additional visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2018 in the Reed Conder Memorial Gymnasium. Memorial contributions may be given to the Preston Cope Memorial Fund c/o CFSB, PO Box 467, Benton, KY 42025.

I'm so very sorry about your son's death. I have thought of him often during the last few weeks -- I have a son of similar age and cannot imagine what you are going through.
