Not sure what to say?

I was sadden to hear of Buck's passing. I worked with him at the SSA regional office and he was always a joy to be around. He will be dearly missed.

Carolyn and Family,

I just returned from vacation and heard the news of Buck's passing. I have known Buck for many years while he worked for SSA and for the last few years he has been my Limo driver. I will cherish our conversations over the years and in particular our last limo ride which was only a few weeks ago and all he talked about was his family and he showed me pictures. His heart was so full of love for all of you. I am so sorry for your loss, but please know that he truly...

I knew "Pa" when his daughter and I were in high school. He chaperoned many many weekend events and I remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We enjoyed knowing Buck over the past few years. He will certainly will be missed. You have our heartfelt prayers. Frank and Susan McCully

Buck was my original trainer when I started with SSA back in 1971. He made the class one that you wanted to come to every day, with his great wit and the knowledge that you knew he wanted to share with us. During the rest of my career, I would run into him at different sessions and SSA affairs, and he still always impressed me with his abilities and great personality. Please know that he touched a lot of our lives in a very positive way and that he will always be remembered. My condolences...

Carolyn,

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of your husband. I can only imagine what your feelings are at this difficult time. Know that I'm thinking of you and remembering you and your family in my prayers.

We're sorry to hear of Buck's death. We both worked with Buck at the Chicago North SSA Office and the Chicago Regional office. He was one of our favorite people.

Carolyn & Family:

I worked with Buck, on the same staff in the Chicago Region office. We knew his wit and warmth, and the best jokes. Know that he was deeply, deeply loved and appreciated by all here. Now that I've 30 years and eligible to "retire", I keenly remember his offer of a driving job with his limo service. My spouse, Rachel & I remember with joy you, Carolyn and he dancing back in the 70's and on... and his building a bunk bed for one of your daughter's room @ IL...

To Buck's family, I just returned from Vacation and just found out, so I am sorry to have missed his funeral. Like others, I knew Buck from SSA. When I started back in the regional office in 1983 I was seated next to Buck. It was to say the least, a very interesting experience until Buck retired. A great gentleman and my great sympathy to you all. Buck meant a lot to all of us at work and in the process taught us all a lot.
