Dear Lyla-Jean, David, and Debbie....I've always thought that Aunt Chris should have been my godmother (if my parents had believed in such a thing)! I loved her sense of humor, she could needle my father with great skill, she understood my mother with the loyalty of a true friend, and she welcomed my family as an extension of the Colburn clan. I'll miss her hugs and perfume--whatever it was--that I associate with her to this day!
