Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel Obituary

Priscilla Gove Forester, 60, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 after a courageous short battle with metastatic brain cancer.

Priscilla was born in Lowell, MA on December 12, 1959 to William E. Gove and Anna L. Gove, and worked many years at the Medical Center Clinic in Pensacola, FL. Priscilla loved gardening, arts and crafts, baking cookies and cakes for friends, and was a pet and wildlife advocate. Priscilla first met her husband, Sam on his 40th birthday celebration and the couple has never been apart until now. Some close friends introduced Sam and Priscilla that night, and the two have been inseparable over the years.

Priscilla leaves behind her husband, Sam Forester; mother-in-law, Helen Brock; brother, Raymond Parker (Ashley); sister, Virginia Gove Carley; brother, Michael Parker (Joan); sister-in-law, Rene Forester Wiser; nephews, William Blair, Christian Steffanini, Jorden Steffanini and Logan Parker; nieces, Emerson Parker, Annalea Parker, Elise Wiser, Michelle Parker, Nicole Parker, Stephanie Parker, and Anna Elizabeth Steffanini, who resided with Priscilla and Sam for several great years. Anna just graduated from the University of Florida last year with her Aunt Prissy attending the ceremony.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life memorial service for Priscilla will be held at a future date. The family is planning a private memorial for now.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, 105 North “S” St., Pensacola, FL 32505, Hotel for Dogs and Cats, 4110 Creighton Rd., Pensacola, FL 32504, or any charity of your choice.
