At the age of 82, while surrounded by her loving family, she peacefully joined angels on October 16, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. She became a USAF military wife in 1956, spent many years overseas, and traveled Europe in an AMC Rambler wagon and a colorful two room tent, creating fond memories for her family. In 2003, she graduated from Tidewater Community College with an Associate in Science degree. Priscilla was a parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. Mark in Virginia Beach for 43 years. She enjoyed traveling to visit children and grandchildren, bowling, winning at word games, and delighting in tea and fellowship with her friends.

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary...

To the Mackes/Huun Family: We are thinking of you during this difficult time. Priscilla was such an easy person to be around! We have happy memories spending time with her when she was in Colorado for her 80th birthday where she got to spend time with her grandchildren. The obituary was a beautiful tribute to her life and we feel lucky to have known her. Mark and Julie Huun
