Not sure what to say?

Dear Joshua and Elizabeth, I am so sorry to see Pru´s obituary. I have had wonderful times with your mom and Aunt Sue. An amazing person is gone. May her memory be for a blessing. Mary-Anne Saxl

Dear Joshua and Elisabeth, My last birthday card to Prudence was returned, so I decided to check her address online before sending wishes this year. Only to learn that she has passed. I was Daniel's assistant at NEC so got to know Prudence. She was such a lovely lady who I revered for her devotion to Daniel, especially in his last years. One of my fondest memories of working with Daniel at NEC was the day he entertained his grandaughters in the President's Library for lunch. I remember...

Dr. Steiner was wonderful. I took a graduate seminar (The Age of Benjamin Franklin) with her. Told us that when she went to California (San Francisco) there was a special exhibit for Franklin and how she said "Oh Daniel, you know I want to go". I also remember going to your home for a dinner with the others in our seminar. (She said Daniel was at a hockey game) It was a wonderful evening. What a wonderful and supportive woman. I treasure her always.

What a great teacher. I took The Bible as Literature in 1985 at HES under Dr. Steiner. I am 66 now and have been going through my accumulations and among them were my papers for that course. I was surprised to see she had passed away very recently. I would have sent her thanks were she still among us. I remember her getting her points across and successfully teaching in a respectful patient way that made the students comfortable. Sincerely, Joe Dansak

I have the fondest memories of Prudence and the Linder and Steiner families and am deeply grieved at her death. HaMakom yinachem etchem betoch shaar avelei Tzion v´Yerushalayim. May the Almighty comfort the bereaved family among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

So many fond memories over more than six decades of friendship. My condolences and love to you all.

Deepest condolences on the passing of a fine Jew and a superb human being. We shall all miss her energetic encouragement and devotion.
