Not sure what to say?

Dr. Williams daily had everyone ready to pay attention to the important morning announcements and his famous ending had many mimics of, " My time is up and I thank you for yours!"
My big exchange with Dr. Williams was with my determinism to allow the 1970 Senior Class to be the first to graduate in caps and gowns and Dr. Williams determinism not to allow us to graduate in such a manner.
The day after Dr. Williams had turned our proposal of caps and gowns down William Greenfield,...

"Ladies and Gentlemen" With those three words, Dr. Williams will always be remembered, by me anyway. Such an inspirational gentleman, always!! May you rest in peace Dr. Williams and be proud of the legacy you left behind. To the Williams Family - what a powerful man Dr. Williams was. Proud alum of Spingarn '70

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dr. Williams: Rest In Peace. The Mission is Done. "I Thank You."

To the Family of Dr. Williams:
As a member of the Class of 1960, I will always remember Dr. Williams as a first-class principal who instilled in us a sense of pride and dignity. His message is very much needed today and for future generations. May he rest in peace.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Williams family on the loss of their loved one, Dr. Purvis J. Williams...
Doc Williams as he was affectionately called has gone home to be with the Lord.. I am certain that he will be there too keeping everyone off of the grass.(smile) I am a graduate of the class of 1968 and
from me and my family and from the class we truly loved him. Cherish the beautiful memories of one so dear!

I extend my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Dr. Purvis J. Williams. Dr. Williams was a great educator who cared about the welfare of his students. I will miss his many recollections and witty remarks he would tell when I visited him during his illness. He was a wonderful person and a dear friend. I am a member of the Class of 1962.

I extend my prayers to the family of Dr. Purvis J. Williams. As a member of the Class of 1971, I will always remember him as a dedicated, experienced, and professional educator.

To Dr. Williams family, my deepest sympathy. I graduated in 1957 from Spingarn, could not have had a more distinguished and dedicated professional educator as Dr. Williams. Thank you sir.
