So sad to hear of her passing; she was a dear, dear friend to my mother, Donna Silver and was spoken of often.

One of my most admired and respected friends. She was always positive and spoke well of everyone. I'll try to concentrate on the good times and laughs we've shared, rather than the sadness of her passing. Donna

Of the nearly one thousand writers who have attended our Beachside Writers Workshops in the last 10 years, only one person had come more than LaVae Robertson. She was as much a fixture at our events as surf is to the coast.
