Quandrice Laron Plez Shelby

SHELBY, Mr. Quandrice-age 25, of Flint, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, September 17, 2018 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.  Pastor David Rogers officiating.  Calling hours are 1:00pm - 5:00pm Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel. The final resting place for Mr. Shelby will be River Rest Cemetery, Flint, MI.

Mr. Quandrice Laron Plez Shelby was born July 21, 1993 in Flint, MI to Jimmie Shelby and Tywana Davis.  Mr. Quandrice Shelby earned his wings on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.  Quandrice was affectionately called "Pig", and "Drice".  Quandrice was very handsome young man and had a gorgeous smile.  He was known for his stylish sense of fashion and his "fly swag".  During his early childhood years, he had some challenges, that he overcame, by finding a God of his own understanding.  Drice was very intelligent and respectful.  He began to change his life, by receiving his high school diploma and  enrolling in college.  He had just received his driver licenses and had become employed.  Quandrice loved to spend time with his family and friends, but he especially loved spending time with his children; Sa'Jaya and Quandrice Jr.  He was on the road to new beginnings, and he would always say "life is so beautiful ".  

Mr. Quandrice Laron Plez Shelby leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Sa'Jaya Simone Shelby; son, Quandrice Laron Plez Shelby Jr.; father, Jimmie Lee Shelby; mother, Tywana Chenell Davis; 4 brothers, Le'Andre Shelby, Terrance Shelby  and Allen Shelby all of Flint, MI and Jimmie Graham of Champaign, IL; 4 sisters, Sydney Copeland, Toniya Johnson both of Flint, MI, Janielle (Bobby) Williams of Chicago, IL and Tyler Cooper of Champaign, IL; 3 nephews, Devonte Frye, Antijuan Moore Jr. and Jimmie Graham Jr.; 7 nieces, Janae, Jashae, Kyndall, Boston, Kimmie, Jade, and DeJanae; 3 uncles, Jermaine Roberts, Deon Moore Royster, and Demetrius  Cook; 8 aunts, LaVaytis (Tony) Drake, Ebony Moore, Kandace Moore, Kamille Pea, Toni Moore, Iyonna Moore, Nannie Horton and Lillian (James) Jones; a host of cousins, relatives and friends including special cousins Antonio Drake, Dequavius Moore and Deonte Arnold and special friends Marvin, Dontwaye and Malik.

Mr. Quandrice Laron Plez Shelby was preceded in death by: grandparents, Elder Roy Moore, Brenda Moore, William Shelby and Mozella Mosley; great-grand parents, George (Mable) Davis and Roy (Ollie) Moore Sr.; brothers, Robert Jermaine Graham and Antijuan Moore Sr.
