Queen Lindsey, 82 passed away on January 25, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1942 in Camden, AR to Ben Smith and Ida Stevens. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and gave her life to Jehovah on July 16, 2005. She was very devoted to the ministry and very encouraging to her family and friends. Queen liked to write and cook and was famous for her peanut butter cake. Her greatest love was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Queen was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Stevens; her father, Ben Smith; a daughter, Katie Adkins, two grandsons, Timothy Adkins and Jerome Adkins; two brothers, Billy Ray Rose and Robert Smith; and special friend Jimmy Hegler.


She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Adkins of Longview, TX, Doris Adkins of Camden, AR, Loresa Moore of Texarkana, AR, and Sherry Mann and husband, Melvin of Camden, AR; a son, Kenneth James of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Laverne Rose of Camden, AR and Lovie Blackman of Little Rock, AR; many grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a couple of great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.


Memorial service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1655 California Ave S.W., Camden, AR 71701.
