Ever since granddad died, I started to feel terrible because I miss the times when he would pick me up, carry me on his shoulders when he waited at my bus stop. I also miss the way he would tell me jokes and cheer me up when I was sad. Plus I miss the times when I got honor roll, he would take me to Denny's and give me money as a gift. My heart is heavy right over the loss of a dear friend. Mr Q and his family embraced my daughter and I when his daugther Deanna was attending college in Charlotte, NC and over the years our families have shared many wonderful times together.
