Not sure what to say?

Mr MacFarlane was my art teacher at Lincoln High School during the early 1960's. He was one of the most interesting and encouraging teachers I had. He will always be remembered for the really large box kites we made.Never had a teacher like him.

Dear Lavinia, Kirstin and Anna.
Our thoughts and love are with you all.

Karen and David

Sending all my love to the family - known you Quentin my whole life, great family friend who'll truly be missed by the Field family.

Always in fond memory, deepest sympathies to my dear friend Kirsten, to Anna, Steven, Judith, to all of Quentin's beloved grandchildren and to Lavinia.

From Nelson Kenny, and Janet Kenny:
We have been very close friends of Quentin's since we met as students in Christchurch. His loss is deeply felt.
He had a great gift for friendship.
His love of the sea is evident in his fine marine-scape paintings.
We understood each other as only old friends do. Thank you dear Quentin. You enriched our lives.

Quentin was a big character in my time at art school and I look forward to remembering him on Sunday. My condolences to his family and Lavinia in particular.

Kindest sympathy Lavinia. Lynnette Ebborn

Quentin - thank you for being the perfect neighbour over the last 20 years. Your DIY advice and amazing tool library will be sorely missed. Much love to Lavinia and family - Jane Boyle xxx
