Not sure what to say?

Quentin was such an inspiration to us. At 93 he was still cooking up eggs, pancakes, etc. for the Community Breakfast at Trinity UM Church in service of Christ. We will miss him greatly!

As a eight-year-old kid from Vine Street, I have great, wonderful memories of Mr. Maxfield from Davis Drugs at Kibby and Metcalf. He was always cheerful and good to us kids. Thanks for being part of my life.

I always went to Maxfield's for our prescriptions and good advice from Quentin. He was a very nice man to everyone who went there. Just passed the old drugstore on Cole St. the other day and my friend and I both said how much we missed that place. Rest in peace Quentin.

I remember Mr Maxfield from when he had his drug store on Pine Street. Every week with our quarter allowance we would go in to his store to get a comic book and maybe a piece of candy. (Ice Cubes were my favorite). Very special man, and good to the neighborhood kids. (I was 8) Sympathy to the family.~
