Quitman and I knew each other professionally (through both his and mine); through the years he became a valued friend. He was patch of cheer in a sometimes gloomy world.

Knowing Quitman would be coming almost took the horror out of having your A/C break down.
He was a lovely man and we are deeply saddened to read of his death.

Pulaski 2003 fishing trip with my son. Even with the cold weather and snow he still had a smile on his face because he loved to fish.
What I remember most about Quit is he always had a smile on his face. If one talked about fishing he was ready to go. To my sister Anna and Quitman IV, Reed and Jeri, Meredith, and Katie his love for life lives on through each of you and memories shared. Smile at someone today and think of him.

May God hold you tight in his loving arms during this difficult time. We didn't know Quitman but certainly know Reed and Jeri as well as Richard and Bev. Our prayers are with your whole family that you will find peace through the support of friends and family and through God's never ending love for you.
In love and friendship,
