Not sure what to say?

To the family of R. Boyd Adrain. My family sends their deepest sympathy to you. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to you. Psalm 90:12

There are very few people that I ever met that could be as much fun as Boyd. He truly brought happiness to those around him, and the world will see no more like him.

I am sorry for his passing and your loss.

We are saddened that our cousin Boyd has died. Starting early in our lives, we looked forward to Thanksgiving when all the Adrain relatives came to our house for Thanksgiving. Our mother, Marguerite Adrain Gettman, loved that holiday and we "kids" could hardly wait for the day because our cousins were coming. Boyd and Hoy would stay the weekend and return to Lorain on the train. What fond memories.

Boyd brought joy to our lives. He will be missed. With that boyish grin and...

I wish every family had someone who added as much to the family melting pot as Uncle Boyd did to ours. He did not live "outside the box", he did not acknowledge that their WAS a box! It did not matter what you were doing, where you had been, or who you had met, he had an opinion, insight, memory, question, or joke on the subject. If you were ever able to verify it, he was generally correct. The number of subjects he could speak convincingly on was amazing. His kind heart and fierce love...

On behalf of the Department of Texas, Marine Corps League I extend to the family and friends our deepest condolences in the loss of your loved one. Even in his final hour he continues to help his brother Marines who are in Brooks Army Hospital. SEMPER FI MARINE, job well done.

Semper Fi, Uncle Boyd. You'll be missed down here, but will liven things up up there. Our sympathies and love to all the Adrain clan.

Boyd has been in my thoughts a lot lately and always has been when I would think of Ellen’s family. He was a character, often checking out the reaction he would get from saying something. I’ll miss him but I won’t ever forget him. Sorry for your loss. Jim

Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Boyd's friendship will be greatly missed, but we cherish those memories and his unique fun loving personality. Keeping you all in our prayers!!

Uncle Boyd was one of the funniest and happiest people to ever be around. We enjoyed his teasing and his outlook on life. He will be missed in life but always remembered.
